Talk with Me, Play with Me, Learn with Me

The Talk with Me, Play with Me, Learn with Me program is a free program for students in kindergarten and their parents.

The program is inspired by the Infant Mental Health Collaborative. This initiative is focused on encouraging families to connect through talking, playing, and learning together.

The Talk with Me, Play with Me, Learn with Me program runs for 8 weeks on Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:00am at a community space in Langley.

This family literacy program is designed for 1 parent and 1 child (in kindergarten) to attend. The parent and child will come to the program, read a book with the group, learn, connect, and play. At the end of each session, the parent and child will receive a new copy of the book that was read in that session.

At the end of the program, each family will have 8 free new books to read and enjoy together at home!

This program has benefits for both the child and the parent. Families in the program will have the opportunity to develop their literacy skills and connect socially and emotionally with each other.
