January 2026 Literacy Fair

Saturday, January 24 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

City of Langley Library (Timms Community Centre, located at 20399 Douglas Crescent, Langley)

FREE Event. All ages.

Come kick off Literacy Week at the Langley Literacy Network Fair!

The Literacy fair will include:

  • Information on Adult and Family Literacy Programs
  • Information on Volunteer Opportunities with the Langley Literacy Network
  • A StoryWalk® throughout the community centre
  • Prize Wheel
  • Take a Book, Leave a Book Table
  • Welcome Library display

Come visit the City of Langley Library during the fair for:

  • A fun “I love Reading!” photobooth event!
  • Literacy month draw
  • Craft table and activities for children
  • Local Author Readings – To Be Determined

Family Literacy Day 2026 Theme: Make mealtime family learning time

Preparing for mealtime is a fun (and tasty) way for families to learn together. Whether it’s following recipes, making shopping lists, or sharing stories at the dinner table, make your mealtime a family learning time.
