Langley Literacy Association

The Langley Literacy Association is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 by interested community people to focus on enhancing literacy throughout our community.

Langley Literacy Wrap-A-Read Books

The Langley Literacy Association believes that improving literacy skills enriches the quality of life for individuals and families in the community. Through partnerships and collaborations we will encourage, promote, and support literacy and life-long learning in Langley.

PROJECTS

Wrap-a-Read – Wrap-a-Read provides a new book to children whose families are registered with the Langley Christmas Bureau. This project takes place each December in partnership with the Langley Christmas Bureau and Fraser Valley Regional Library, as well as the assistance of dozens of volunteers.
In 2016, we gave away books to 1588 Langley children during our three day December event.

Thank you to the sponsors of our 2016 Wrap-a-Read project!
